Cornwall Schools Regatta - what it is PDF Print E-mail
Written by Martin Egan

The Cornwall Schools Regatta is a one day regatta for pupils in school years 4 -10 attending schools in Cornwall. It is normally held on a Wednesday in late June or early July, so after exams are finished. Quite a lot of the sailors attending are new to racing and quite a few Sailing Schools support the event by allowing their Pico and other dinghies to be used.

For many  years it was organised by Tracy Boyne of Mylor Sailing School. In 2016 Tracy took a step back and Tim Cross from the RYA took the lead role

Over the past few years there have been Mirrors from Looe, Mount's Bay/Penzance and Restronguet racing (so the usual suspects). Why not come along and join in the fun ?
