I will be on the water both days and able to help the kids just starting out,I will be more than happy to help the ones nearer the back with boat speed and boat set up.
Also before you go out can help rig up and tell you a little about local conditions etc...........just ask!

If you are coming to Brightlingsea please can you enter before hand, we need to have some idea of numbers for the galley.
Come and sail against the current European Champion (Chris and Ollie) and the current National Champion (Emma and Martina), this is the last big event before the Worlds so a great way to see how fast you are going.
Phil Rust will be the OOD for the weekend and has promised good winds and lots of sun!!

Sadly heard this before Craig that it will be good winds and sun <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

What we often get is no wind and rain <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

But as gluttons for punishment we will be there with Eloise and Inge-lisa, hoping Phil's weather booking is correct

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul
Just has a Laser, Fireball and Phantom open at Brightlingsea, sun, wind and 26 degrees, Phil was OOD and promised this months ago. He still assures us that the Mirror open will be the same.
Good to hear you are coming Paul, to be on the safe side best bring your umbrella!!

Hi Harry
Yes just come and find me, seen long range forecast tonight, 27 degrees but with a stiff Easterly wind, the high coming in will be just above Brightlingsea by next weekend so sounds perfect, gosh I hope we are correct after all this!!
This weekend would not have been good, no wind and horrible!

The course for this weekend will be the same as used for the Worlds, Phil our OOD will be trying to set up similar conditions, I think from memory this means no reach to reach gybe which may be better for some!

Well the forecast was nearly correct, sorry about the lack of wind over weekend but I hope all that travelled enjoyed sunny Brightlingsea.
Well done to Charlotte and Annie who showed everyone how to sail in light airs.
Looking forward to the Worlds with I think the most open Worlds we will have had for a number of years.
