Well it was a good weekend for all
I feelt that we all had good speed when we were laneing.
Now I hope you all have more than one start plan. Remember how to comunicate them to your crew.
Catherine and Eleanor have started to get in to the front row with a bit more determination. Good
Clare you need to check that John is not going to be to much of a cowboy on the star line.
Alex & Jack / Trevor I hope the repair is going well!!
Mali and Issie we need to get you onto the Line. When you get there you will find that it all much easier when you sail in clear air, need to chek we didn't put to much rake on.
David and Ali sailing well you will just need a what if plan to get the guy into the cleat if the wind pipes up. We will have to give you a handycap for the next time.
Meia and Elin we know you have good speed in the laneing exes so may be you could have a new racing tack tic get on to some ones sholder and see if you can stay there.
I will try and do an email with pics of the new Spinakers as I don't think they can be posted on this board.

Home work is to put the rig up on a dry day and mark sheets and halyards, Kickers and all so that we know were we are!

Have a good holiday maybe see you at the snowflake at CYC this weekend.

What an excellent session this was, many thanks to Peter for keeping everyone including the adults entertained and informed.

Despite awful weather forecast and not much recent advertising we still got a good fleet out on both days with some very worthwhile training exercises run.

Sunday saw North sails (Tim Rush) bring down 3 new spinnakers to try, fortunately the breeze came in and enabled us to put them to good practice.

From watching on the shore the new spinnakers looked quick on the reaches and easy to trim.

And what was the best bit, seeing so many happy faces having enjoyed the weekend!

The next session is due to be at Draycotte 17th\18th January, lets see if we can get the numbers up a bit so we can keep these sessions going. Come on the worlds are just around the corner!
