Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help?
I have purchased a Trident 2005 GRP Mirror and the previous owner fitted but did not use the Trident Rowlock sockets designed for grp boats. However there is quite a bit of flexion in the gunwhale and the current reinforcement looks inadequate.
Does anyone have experience of successfully fitting and using rowlocks in a grp Mirror? if so any advice or pictures would be welcomed. Also Trident recommend fitting the rowlocks 200mm behind the aft edge of the thwart, does that sound right from experience? (These have been fitted closer to the thwart and look wrong to me....)
Thanks,
Ellie
