How do I fix my mirror? was created by WD

The tape on some of the seams of my mirror have come off and need redoing. Do I just fibreglass over the seams or is there a tape I should use as it looks as if this was a special tape? Thanks.

It would make sense to remove the tapes so the new ones don't come off with the old! and I havent come across any special tape and if you add to the old tape you are adding weight
