We have a transportation glitch in the organisation for the Datchet weekend, and would be pleased to hear from anyone heading from Datchet to or past the Farnham area on Saturday evening, who could accommodate two smallish teens. Complication is that the normal taxi is at Hamble for the Warming Pan, which by my calculation is 180 degrees wrong!
Any help very welcome.

Does anybody have any comments on being charged £30 for a weekends sailing it what is a junior class?
Quite a few people are taking 2 boats which means £60 for two days sailing.
i know Datchet need to pay for the building work on their club house but i,m not sure the young Mirror sailors should pay for this.

This is a valid comment, Datchet are charging £25, there is then a £5 levy as contribution to judging costs. I doubt Datchet will make a massive profit on the Mirror fleet. If we want cheaper events we have to go to cheaper clubs. As a comparision the other junior classes charge similar entry fees, the 420s £40 for their qualifiers.
We orignally planned this as a one day event, but lots of poople wanted a full two day championship.
