A great many thanks to the South West & South zone squads who made us welcome at Weymouth this weekend. Unfortunately the large rock that bit the centreboard case from 'JAWS'came off better than the boat and as we write this Dad is rebuilding the boat - hopefully in time for the Reading Open.
Once again, thank you all and thanks to all the coaches - it was great fun, we were really disappointed to miss the sailing on Sunday.

Replied by mooreboys on topic Thanks
We zapped our dagger board at Weymouth in November.
We hit something underwater just near the white mooring buoy, nearest the slipway.
A 29er hit the same thing when we visited a couple of weeks ago.
Also recent reports in Y+Y from Speed Week of damage to boats.

We've learnt not to put the board all the way down until beyond the pontoon

I hope they only race during the Olympics on high water!
