Clubs in Solihull Midlands area was created by jen11755
Wondered if someone might be able to point me in the direction of local clubs (list of websites etc) in the Solihull area for the older, intermittent, novice sailer, who would prefer to potter initially over the summer months with his almost as old Mirror?
Appreciate any help.
Regards John

I do not think Shustoke Sailing Club is far from you, and they have an active fleet of older Mirror sailors who are very sociable.

Hope this may help you

There is also:
Barnt Green Sailing club, www.sailingbarntgreen.com/
Bartley Sailing club, www.bartleysc.co.uk/

or if you don't mind going a bit further and sailing in a Capability Brown designed landscape there is always Ragley Sailing club (although I must declare an interest), www.ragleysailingclub.org.uk/ . We are a very friendly club, with an active mirror fleet which is a lot less competitive than Shustoke or Bartley.

Good Luck
