EASTERNS - TRAINING DAY

A TRAINING DAY HAS BEEN ARRANGED ON FRIDAY 18TH APRIL WITH PETER AITKEN FOR ANYONE ENTERING FOR THE FIRST OF THE NATIONWIDE SERIES AND A QUALIFIER FOR THE EUROPEANS.

ENTRIES FOR THE TRAINING DAY NEED TO BE MADE VIA THE NEW ONLINE SYSTEM. ALSO E-MAIL ME VERY SOON TO SAY IF YOU INTEND TO ATTEND THE TRAINING DAY.

IT WILL BE SPRING TIDES AT BURNHAM AND TRICKY CONDITIONS SO A COACHED KNOWLEDGE OF THE WATERS WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE TO YOUR SUCCESS.

Unfortunately some people are back at school by the 18th, so I think this will affect how many people are able to attend for training.

What time will the training start?

Yes Wendy : half term is split so some will be absent depending on county. The South should be free for state schools though. Tom and James will be there. Hope Emma (and friends) will too.

Normal open coaching arrangements : 10.00 rigged and ready finish about 17.00 When the numbers are known Peter will post a programme for the day. The entry fee will be £20 per boat.

Just confirmed with Peter the training will be happening

To allow everyone to arrive, rigged and ready for 11.00, then one long session on the water based around the anticapated racer area
