The 2005 Open Coaching programme information page will appear in the Yearbook shortly. Individual events will be listed on the OC webpage as they are booked.
The Southern Area has provisionally booked OC days at Spinnaker on 15 May; At Maidenhead on 21 May and Hamble River SC on 25/26 June - all these still to be confirmed together with one other weekend early in the season - late Apl/early May.
So far no other Mirror Areas have booked OC events. If you want a 6 session programme (6 one day/3 weekends)in you area chase up your Area Rep.
The main point to note about OC in 2005 is that it is intended for those who wish to undertake the syllabus and not, as last year, mainly for those who want a day's free coaching at their home club. In 2005 all boats will pay the same rate - approx £20 a day.
For those wanting to have club coaching at home this is not part of the OC programme so must be arranged within your own clubs.
Hope this helps
Happy Christmas - John
