Welsh Harp, London Mirror Meet

Hi everyone,

Once again we're holding an informal coaching/racing day at the Welsh Harp in NW London. It'll be on the 4th January 2009, a great way to begin the new year and and start as you mean to go on!

No fixed details yet other than as this year we'll have some coaching in the morning and some races in the afternoon. If you're interested in coming or know someone in the area who'd like to, please let me know by email and when I've got more details I'll of course post them up here.

Tom and Trevor,

It should start a similar time to last year, I think we attempted a 10.30 briefing for 11am start.

It would be great to see Tim and co again, and if you can think of any others who might like to they'd be very welcome! Likewise anyone needing a crew, I'm sure some our lot would be available.

A poster will be on its way very shortly! Anyone know how I could upload a link to it from the forum so it could be downloaded?

If the boat is repaired in time, I am sure we'll make a concerted effort to come for a play

Update:

We now have hopefully 8 boats coming on the 4th, not bad for the 2nd year of the event! Anyone else still interested in starting the New Year the right way is very welcome, please let me know either by email (on my profile) or post below.<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> Sunshine and light winds are forecast, nothing too strenuous!

Update:

Unfortunately we're having to postpone the event as the Harp is mostly solid ice... We'll reschedule it in before the start of the season, so anyone who couldn't make it this weekend is welcome to come!
