Haven't been in for a while, where has the Future Devlopment topics gone?

Is it just my problem with viewing them?

You've probably only got your browser set up to show topics from the last month. The last post in this forum was on the 6th of March

Steve

yes you need to adjust the drop down menu, near the top right of the page to set the timescales for messages to be displayed.

As an aside and for those having problems getting to events, just seen this on Y+Y, allegedly something for Top Gear TV programme :

The Top Gear team are building an amphibious car on this Sunday's (21) episode and sailing it on a Staffs lake, so I guess it will be the car in the picture with the Mirror rig

..and the "tortoise" Mirror proved victorious, even without a daggerboard! A Triumph of sail over steam (from overheated engines).

I must be getting very old!

My first thought watching last nights program was "Isn't it a legal requirement to cover the prop on the outboard when towing". Then wondered what the health and safety aspects of driving around with a fully erected Mirror mast were. Also when the VW drove into the water with the only obvious exit in the event of it sinking appeared to be about 10 feet away from the driver. I hope the dive rescue team was just out of shot.

I also cringed when the little Honda outboard was immersed. But not as much as when the large outboard went over. I hope they stopped the engine before it sank.

As said, I am obviously getting very old and boring! Great program though!
