I write to you on behalf of Algoa Bay Yacht Club, the host club for the World Mirror Championships to be held in January 2007.

Welcome to South Africa, and to the waters of Port Elizabeth in particular!
We are known as ‘The Friendly City’ and also as the Watersport Capital of South Africa.
By now you would have made your flight arrangements and transport for your Mirror will leave your shores soon.
Please take note of the exciting entertainment programme on the Mirror Worlds website and the packages we have put together to make catering and transport arrangements easy for your sailors and their support teams.

Please do not forget to bring your national flag as well as a copy of your national anthem. We also require a container filled with water from your home sailing area for the Mixing of the Water ceremony.
If you are bringing a RIB for your coach, please remember safety equipment and VHF radios.
If you require transport from the airport to your accommodation, please respond to this e-mail address. We also need to know how many people are in your group of arrivals.
