Prizes for Gaff Rigged Mirrors

Hi All

With the Worlds rapidly approaching and it being an open event we are going to try and generate interest in the 'Classic' Gaff rigged mirror by putting up some trophies. We want all of you guys and girls with traditional mirrors to come and join the party and make this this biggest and best worlds ever.

So starter for 10 for prizes

Gaff rigged wooden World Champion (new Perpetual)? plus runner up
Oldest gaff rigged mirror to complete all races?
Oldest combined Age (Boat plus crew)

No Guarantee we will provide for all suggestions but if we get lots the committee will do our best to pick the best ones.

The plan is to make the 2009 Worlds as inclusive as possible, so not just the top end racers.

In addition to the main championship fleet, the plan is to have a Mirror Fun Fleet for the less serious racers and older boats, giving everyone the chance to particapate and be part of the World Championships. There will also be a single handed fleet.
