We're thinking of running a mirror event at Seahorse sc in london. We've got a small fleet, but would love to have a day where we could invite other sailors to sail for fun and maybe race. How should we go about organising this, and who would be interested in coming?

MCA are planning a road show of Mirror open days at clubs, both to encourage existing members to get more involved with events and allow newcomers to try a Mirror.

Please can you suggest some dates

i may be interested in doing the road show but i would need a miroor to doit in becuase we sold our mirror and now have a topper (ABN-AMRO THREE)

Would it be better now to leave such an event until next season when warmer days might encourage more people? Or should we have a go now?

Hannah - hope you saw the e-mail sent on 24 Oct. It would be best to have the event in early summer (May - Jun) but you need to sort out a date with the club soon so that it can go in the club calendar. If you want help from the Class Association let us know so we can work with you.
