Ex-Mirror and Opi sailor Megan Brickwood and helm Annabelle Vose, have won the 420 Ladies World Championship in Buenos Aries, Argentina. The Championship produced some outstanding results for British crews with Amy Seabright and ex-Mirror sailor Rosie Sibthorp finishing in 13th place and another ex-Mirror sailor Charlotte Fitzgerald finishing 31st with crew Catherine Colvin.
In the 420 Open Championship Team GBR had four boats in the top ten, with ex-Mirror sailor Tom Lovesey crewing for Harry Derbyshire doing well in the Junior fleet. The British crews also won the overall team trophy.
