Hugh is keen to hear from anyone interested in getting started in Mirrors, and his current Mirror is available for anyone to borrow.

Ian in Auckland has recently acquired an older, but very nice, Mirror and is enthusiastically sailing it at Taikata Sailing Club – a great venue for Mirror sailing!

A boat built recently from a Trident kit is also sailing regularly at Titahi Bay Boating Club in Wellington.

There are a few other Mirrors known to be in New Zealand. David Pierce has built two wooden boats from Bob Cruse kits for his club in Taupo.

Emma Sanderson, wife of Kiwi Mike Sanderson of Americas Cup and Volvo Ocean racing fame, has purchased 69670 "Hakuna Matata" which Howard Tear sailed to 2nd place in the 2000 Mirror European Championships.
