Just a reminder regarding the 2015 Mirror African Championships and World Championships.

Early entries closes on 15th November 2014 at midnight. We encourage you to enter asap as this will also assist in our planning. Please enter at http://2015worlds.mirrorsailing.org/  .

All fees can be found on the Notice of Race. Kindly note that this entry form is an electronic form that can to be completed online. You can either pay via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or if you are making a credit card payment, please ensure that you have your card details at hand.

Reg is 6th at the Endeavour Trophy

The Endeavour Trophy is an annual event that brings together all the National Champions from the different fleets that compete in their own National Championships. This year Reg from Beaver SC won the Mirror National Championship at Brixham to qualify for this prestigious event. Twenty Champions came together sailing a new boat, the Topper Argo, so the ‘playing fields were level’! It was going to be down to the skills of the sailors in the conditions that presented themselves over the weekend. The forecast was for good winds on Saturday but heavy winds on the Sunday. It wasn’t wrong!

Oxford Team Racing Academy 2014 - 2015

The Oxford Team Race Academy (OTRA ) was set up last Autumn with the primary aim to keep 16 – 21 year old dinghy sailors in the sport, & to give sailors the opportunity to learn skills which would benefit them on their move into university sailing.

Five weekends of team race training are to be run at Oxford Sailing Club this winter in Fireflies

If you would like to be coached in the art of team racing then this is the squad for you.

Ripon SC Open & Northern Travellers - NOR & SIs

The final Northern Travellers Open meeting is taking place on the 15 November at Ripon, the Notice Of Race, Sailing Instructions & a map of the lake can be downloaded via the links. We had a great turnout last year ranging from some of the very best young Mirror squad sailors to older single hander sailors like myself and it would be great to see as many of you as possible supporting the event again this year. There are some great prizes to be won including the usual boxes of chocolates.
