Duncan Lawson, the Commodore of Weir Wood SC, is asking for support, and to raise awareness of legal issues that other sailing clubs could come up against. He writes:
In brief, two years ago, our reservoir was taken over by a new landlord. The landlord has made it very clear that our sailing club is not part of the development plans for the site, despite us having over 40 years left on our lease. Over the last 18 months we have been subjected to intimidation and unfounded legal proceedings have been initiated against us.

Vita Heathcote and Chris Grube will compete for Team GB in the mixed dinghy (470) class at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the British Olympic Association have announced.
This year the Mirror Class Association had stand L10 at the dinghy show and, thanks to TridentUK & Ginger Boats, were able to exhibit the new TridentUK epoxy/foam sandwich Mirror. As ever the stand was reasonably busy with many old friends of the class, and some new faces, stopping by for a chat. Thanks to Steve Bland from Poole YC & Chris Balding from Island Barn SC for helping with the stand on Saturday & Sunday respectively.
