Sandwich Bay S.C Open Meeting was held on 8th July. 22 boats sailed a series of three races in a steady Force 4 Easterly wind and a rather lumpy sea.
A Committee boat start was used to ensure that the first leg of the triangular course was to windward and this really sorted the fleet out. Peter Barrett of Seasalter S.C. really showed his skill and won all three races.
