Stora Stenars Segelsällskap and Svenska Mirror Eskadern are pleased to invite you to 1989 MIRROR CLASS EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS that will be sailed outside Hamburgsund, Sweden, the 23rd - 29th July 1989
ENTRY REGULATIONS
All competitors must be paid up members of their national Mirror association and members of a club recognised by their national yachting association. Entry must be made on the official entry form and received by SSSS, Posthuset, S-450 70 Hamburgsund, not later than JUNE 26 1989.
ENTRY FEE
SEK 450 to be paid to account #7510-3010 Föreningsbanken, Hamburgsund, or to account #4102-1163 Sparbanken, Tanum, Hamburgsund. The entry fee can also be sent by cheque to SSSSs address or transferred by postgiro #40 99 98-2. Whatever you choose — not later than June 26 1989.
INSURANCE
All competitors must be insured against damage to third party. The insurance must be shown on arrival.
PRICES (PRIZES?)
The winning crew will become European Champions 1989 of the International Mirror Class. Overall prizes for the first ten crews and daily prizes for the first three in each race. The traditional prizes for the Mirror Class will be given.
JURY
The decisions of the International Jury shall be final.
RACING AREA
The Championship races will be sailed on the open sea northwest of Hamburg On and organised by Stora Stenars Segelsallskap. Currents are fairly uniform over the whole racing area.
RACING RULES
The championships will be held under I.Y.R.Y.s racing rules 1989-1992, the International Mirror Class rules and the Sailing Instructions.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
The summer weather in Sweden can be unpredictable, but the coastal area around Hamburgsund generally enjoys better weather than other parts of the country. With fresh winds from a westerly direction the waves will be big. The temperature may vary from 18° to 26°C and water temperatures from 18° to 20°C.
ACCOMMODATION
In the area there are two good camp sites and a youth hostel. There are also accommodation possibilities in small apartments, in small huts, and in family rooms with access to kitchen. Apartments and huts can be rented per week only. The nearest hotel is about 10 km away. It is recommended to reserve accommodation as soon as possible as the championships will be held in the high of the season. A simple lodging may be arranged in the local schoolhouse.
