2000
GRP hull built by Widebeam , it has a number GBW1DGS043D000 stamped on it. Reading between the lines, it sounds like a Bell/Ferranti style GRP boat (presumably the Bell/Ferranti moulds went to Widebeam when Bell went bust). It was sold to Huddersfield Scouts.

There was some correspondance between Trevor Peacock and the Mirror Class Association regarding how to work out the sail number from the hull number. Trident-UK were able to help and established it was 70043 built in 2000 by Widebeam. I don't understand why it has no plaque bearing the sail number (all boats built since 1989 have blue and white IYRU/ISAF/World Sailing plaques), unless the plaque has been lost.
