Due to the south-westerly gales prevailing over the area, the Saturday race had to be cancelled, despite several Mirror ‘Experts’ who took to the water to show us all how to do it. They were good, of course, especially at Breast Stroke!
The Sunday dawned with moderated conditions, and two races were sailed in winds ranging from 2—4. An excellent entry of 19 boats took part, 17 of which belong to the host club—a creditable turnout. Some exciting racing was experienced, and all who took part thoroughly enjoyed the day.
