Wood hull built by Malcolm Goodwin on the Goodwin jig.
This boat was advertised for sale for £1300 , details were:
Race rigged Mirror 69303 “TacTix” in good condition a fast club racing boat. Only selling as family progressed to sailing single handlers.
Built by Malcolm Goodwin in 1991
Comes with Goodwin mainsail and jib, fly away spinnaker pole system, spinnaker chute and sock, Speed sails spinnaker sail (purple and white), continuous spinnaker sheets and spinnaker uphaul/downhaul line, fitted chain stay adjusters, Harken main sheet block and laminated centre board and rudder blade. Outhaul and cunningham (tack downhaul) control lines are lead aft to cleats on the thwart.
This boat also has a (Trident) Gnav kicker system an alternative vang/kicker that creates a lot of space under the boom where the kicker would have been situated (see photos). It uses a rigid rod that pushes down on top of the boom in the same place where the kicker would otherwise be pulling down. This system allows plenty of space for the crew when taking or gybing.
Boat comes with a recently purchased overboom (Boom Up) cover (Trident) made from Breathable HydroGuard.
The hull built in Brightlingsea in 1991 is off the Goodwin jig so is an excellent pedigree boat. Finished in red 2 pot epoxy and interior varnishished
Launching trolley (Trident) shaped to fit the Mirror hull.
Road trolley (not a combi) is included in price.
Boat is garage stored over winters.
Comes with a spare mast, gaff, plywood rudder x2, centre boards x2, used boom over cover, original jeckell sails and a spare Malcolm Goodwin spinnaker.
She was sold in April to a new family, she is staying local in Moray
