A Fleet of 44 Mirrors awoke to a warm sunny day with force 2 southwesterly. Race 1 got away 1st time with one individial recall. A pin end start and going left paid for Sarah & George Richards in "Tinytanic" who lead at the 1st mark followed by Milly & Nick Pugh in "Wild Cat".
Sarah & George held the lead the the bottom mark on the outer loop. On the next beat the leading pack went left and the chasing pack went right. Right paid so it was Rory Mackenzie and Harvey Martin in "General Grievous" who lead at the top mark. There were lots of place changes amoung the chasing pack of Sarah & George, Katie Davies and Gemma Keers, Milly and Nick. Rory & Harvey held the lead on the 2nd lap or the outer loop and across to the finish aheaed of Sarah & George 2nd, Katie and Gemma 3rd, Milly and Nick 4th.
2nd race got away 1st time in a little more wind - 13 knots, and more ebb tide. Milly and Nick started mid-line and played the shifts up the middle to lead at the 1st mark, followed by Sarah and George, Jack Maye and Sarah White in "Razr" were 4th. There were lots of place changes amoung the leading pack with Sarah & George and Milly and Nick swapping the lead. Milly went on to take line honours with Sarah and George 2nd, Rory and Harvey 3rd and Jack and Sarah 4th.
