The UK Mirror Class Association is now in a position to develop the 2010 Open Training Programme.
Should you wish to arrange training at your club for people who are:
new to mirrors,
want to improve their mirror sailing/racing
or
are looking to buy a mirror in the future.
the UK Mirror Class Ass with the help of funds from the RYA can help.
Events currently organised
1st and 2nd June 2010 Itchenor Sailing Club Mirror Beginners Event
12th and 13th June 2010 Annandale Sailing Club Coached Open
The UK Mirror Class Association is looking to run a number of Open Training Events at various venues around the country. The aim being to introduce new people to MIRROR DINGHY SAILING and advance the skills of those that have already started.
It will be possible to book places on these events on line through the booking system
The UK Mirror Class Association will pay for the cost of a coach for the day. plus a small amount for coaches expenses. and a contribution towards the cost of petrol. Total £150.
Clubs are asked to provide:
a space for briefing and debriefing within the clubhouse or adjacent building;
adequate rescue cover for the event;
access to warm drinks, food if possible and changing facilities
place a poster about the event with other local clubs.
Write a short 100 -200 word report about the activities, with if possible a few jpg photos.
