So the Nationals are over and done with for another year. As a spectator who has attended all the Nationals since 1985 with the exception of 1987 in Eastbourne, may I make a few observations?
The welcome from Felpham SC on our arrival was warm and this friendly atmosphere continued throughout the weekend. They obviously know how to organise events, know their waters and with the windward mark so close to the shore, it meant that spectators could see all that was going on, whether you liked it or not!
