Notice of Race
1. 1. Organizing authority
The organizing authority is Mounts Bay Sailing Club.
The Competitors should note that Mounts Bay Sailing Club supports the RYA Racing
Charter & that, when entering, Competitors will be required to undertake to sail
in compliance with the Charter.
The prescriptions of the UKMCA will also apply, except if these are changed by
this Notice of Race or the SailingInstructions.
Local Rules: Tow Rope;- Every boat shall carry a rope suitable for towing that is
not less than 10 metres in length and 6mm in diameter. The tow rope must not be
used for any other purpose whilst afloat.
rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) will govern this event.

The Mobilise your Mirror campaign has been launched with an advert and and press release in the current edition of Yachts and Yachting / Dinghy Magazine. The theme of the campaign is try a Mirror, buy a Mirror, sell a Mirror. We aim to mobilise all those unused Mirrors lying idle in sailing club dinghy parks and garages all over the country. More details to follow with the main focus in July so that you can buy a Mirror for the summer holidays.
