Nationals - before you race.......

Just a reminder to those attending the Nationals

• In order to comply with Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) rule 78.1, you have to have a measurement certificate for the boat with the correct owner's details on it (except Bronze & Regatta fleet).
• Both helm & crew need to be a member of the UK Class Association
• You need to have sails that carry a certification mark (except Bronze & Regatta fleet)
• The boat's buoyancy needs to have been tested or inspected within the last 12 months (except Bronze & Regatta fleet). Steve Bland has kindly agreed to help me with buoyancy tests for the untested again this year, but it would be helpful if you came with it already done, or at least checked that it will pass (no leaks, no missing 'O' rings,......etc.)

2023 Mirror Worlds - 'Early Bird' entry closing soon

the 'early bird' entry for the 2023 Mirror Worlds in Sligo closes soon, entry is on the event website here http://2023worlds.mirrorsailing.org/entry/. As well as getting the lower entry price, all 'early bird' entries will be entered into a free draw to win a new Hyde Sails spinnaker. You must be entered by midnight on the 12th May 2023 to qualify.

Membership 2023

The Mirror Class Association membership system is now available on-line. Following the closure of the The "AppHarbor" platform that hosted SailScore, we are now using a website extension to allow us to collect memberhips. The new system uses PayPal as payment gateway (the same as SailScore), so you will need a PayPal account. You will also need an account on this website - www.ukmirrorsailing.com. There is a step by step guide to purchaing membership here.

2023 Mirror Nationals at Brightlingsea - Early entry closes soon

Just a reminder that the £125 'Early entry' for the 2023 Mirror Nationals at Brightlingsea is only available until Sunday 30th April, after that the entry fee increases to £175. Online booking is on the Brightlingsea SC website.
