unidentified boat was created by Gavin
This isnt a mirror based question but.....
I have "aquired" a fibre glass boat - about 4.3m (give or take a little - I havent measured it yet) - it has a ali mast and boom (from manufacture) and resembles a "skipper", but isnt.

The only other clue that I can offer is the sail is marked with what I can best describe as a fat 'C' or 'crescent'.

It was a near free-be from a bloke at work and needs a little work doing on it - hence the need to try to identify the type.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

PS - I am a mirror owner too (sail number 3751)- not just a web site interloper!

Hi ,
Could it be a Cadet?
There were a couple for sale about 18 months ago that were advertised as Mirrors by thier owners who did'nt really know what they were too.

I assume the hull shape resembles a Mirror? If it does the give aways are the "C" on the sail , a foredeck that's level with the gunnels and top of bowplate, not recessed like a Mirror's and a bowplate that's roughly the same shape as a Mirror but one third smaller?

I'm going off the "c" sail insignia but may be well off the mark as the sails may not even belong to the hull you've acquired. One boat advertised as a mirror that i looked at when i was buying turned out to be a cadet hull with mirror sails!

regards
Kevin

thanks for the efforts - but unfortunatly its no cadet - its a bit bigger than a mirror and (this is only a guess mind) think it was designed / made in the early 80's - thats based on the condition and styling.....
