Hi Guys,
Hope the training has been going well. Remember that the actually sailing on the water is a small part of the whole campaign. You have a whole load of other stuff you can be getting on with if sailing is not easy to do, for example:
- boat prep
- Fitness
- Reading (rules, tactic etc)
- Organisation of training and diary
- etc

Plan for this weekend is:

Review where you are at with you sailing. Hope you have all done your dart board stuff we started last weekend. Could you all bring it with you! I will do one which represents what is required at the different levels. Come with some specific goals. Analyse where you need to improve.
Focus

*Decision making* - have a think of the key areas in the race where decision are made. Just the key ones!
Spinnaker work
Mark rounding
Tacking
SWOT Analysis

Plan B

Fitness/ nutrition talk

Here is a summary of the previous weekend. We will spend the first 20 minutes going over what we learned so have a think.

- Compass work with model boats
- Went over my video from South Africa
- Protest mock-ups scenarios
- Boat set-up and measurement
- Performance profiling (dartboard)/ goal setting
- Starting routines
- Spinnaker Routines
- Rule 42 pumping followed by video.
- PT (for those that made it!!!)

Any problems please contact me.
The season is fast approaching and I hope to have long sessions on the water, fingers crossed we have good condition.

Expect to be pushed out of your comfort zone!!

I look forward to seeing you all at the weekend

Regards

Matt
